Halloween was a week-long celebration, as it always is for young kids. There were parades at school, the annual Vienna Halloween Parade, which we attended with all our best friends from the neighborhood, and of course, trick or treating. Tim threw himself into pumpkin carving with his usual gusto, and it looked wonderful (in spite of the very aggressive squirrel who spent the days leading up to Halloween snacking on our pumpkins). With the end of daylight savings time this morning, our early riser Cole was up at 5:00 a.m. . . . watching Frosty the Snowman, of course! It's November 1st. There's Christmas music in my CD player.
