waking up from dreams that i'm still in law school - stretches before sunrise - a morning spent cutting up fruit that hasn't been available for the last six months - baby lettuces poking up through the dirt - hot rooibos tea with lemon on april days that turn cold - stale homemade bread for french toast - irish oatmeal in the crockpot before dawn - the smell of caroline's hair in the morning - fluffy white trees -
