dried cherries and pistachios - feeling in the silence the communal rise and fall of little sleeping bellies - the lazy drone of the hamster wheel - pink roses on white tablecloth - preschool teachers - steady meditative slicing of tomatoes while two children nap - dogwood blooms - sun blasting through storm clouds - the way usborne books feel in my hands - shirtless chase reading to me as i clean up breakfast dishes -
